Nestled in Epsom, one of Auckland’s most pleasant communities, Cromwell House and Hospital is set in a large beautiful garden and courtyard which enables residents and their families and friends to either stroll on the pathway that encompasses the fully enclosed property, or sit and relax at their leisure.
We delivering quality, holistic care incorporating a strong sense of empathy, dignity and regard to individual rights needs and wishes. Our Nursing team work with you aiming of maintaining, restoring your maximum independence of your functions of daily living, recognising your cultural, spiritual values, individual preferences and lifestyles.
Cromwell House Healthcare team: CEO/Director, Manager, Clinical Manager, Clinical Leader, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Kitchen staff, House keeping staff, etc. We work together with our contracted GP, Pharmacists, PT, Dietician, Hairdresser, Podiatrist to ensure our residents’ holistic care needs met.
Tom van Dongen, our Diversional Therapist along with the contracted outer entertainers facilitate a positive and energetic environment through a series of activities and events. Exercise regimes, outdoor walking, gardening, word games, cross word, visiting musicians, singing, dancing etc. There is also regular bus trips for residents to particapating.
Cromwell House & Hospital have contract with Ministry of Health, look after Young Person with Disabilities (YPD). Available both for long term and short term care. YPD is a level of care for residents under the age of 65, catering to physical disabled, psychological disabled, and terminally ill residents. We have residents under 65 under Taikura Trust.
Respite care is a short – term care programme; Respite is for the carers to take a break from their caring responsibilities. Taking time out can help the carer feel rested and re-energised.
Our day care services is a provision of 6 hours of care to your loved one, while you take a day off. They may meet with other residents, and enjoy our activities and meals.
